An Insider Peek at Milan
Home to iconic fashion houses like Prada, Fendi, Bottega Veneta and Gucci, it’s no wonder why Milan hosts one of the most prestigious fashion events in the world, Milan Fashion Week. This year, we asked art director, Leandra Loffredo, to report live from the global fashion epicentre. Sporting the latest Melanie Lyne collection from head to toe, she roamed its narrow streets and indulged in the best the city had to offer.

Casual Elegance
Her first look: Sharp all-black suiting with a contemporary openwork knit underneath. Sleek, sophisticated and perfect for scoping out the sights.

Laid-Back Chic
Her second look: The twill utility set in Capers and patterned knit tank in Ivory, paired with our envelope bag in Biscuit. Casually cool yet refined, with a distinctly of-the-moment feel.

Milan Street Style
Where she went? First up, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, one of the oldest (and arguably chicest) shopping centres in the world; for lunch, Gloria Osteria and its eclectic interiors. The following morning, it was off to Palazzo Morando, a museum dedicated to the city’s fashion history, to catch an exhibit on the exquisite work of Cristobel Balenciaga.
Colours, shapes and trends she noticed while out and about? Pastels, notably pistachio greens like our Jelly Mint, and unique hues juxtaposed with quiet-luxury neutrals. Garments with movement that were light and airy, strong shoulders in suiting and voluminous silhouettes that take up space. And for details: Metallics, sheers, nautical influences and fresh takes on florals. All elements you can find among our SS25 collection.
